Privacy policy

Short version: we read your Google Ads reports to write your audit, keep them for 30 days, then delete them. We never change your account, never sell data and never use it for advertising.

Who we are

Deadspend is operated by Viral [legal entity name to confirm] ("we"). Contact: support@deadspend.app.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address and, if you buy, billing details handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
  • Google Ads data: with your permission, read-only reports for the account you choose: campaigns, ad groups, keywords, search terms, conversion actions, budgets and performance metrics for the last 90 days.
  • Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser, time) kept for up to 14 days for security.

How we use Google user data

We use Google Ads data only to generate the audit you ordered and, if you subscribe, your weekly reports. Deadspend's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use it to train general-purpose AI models, do not sell it, and do not let people read it unless you ask us to for support or the law requires it.

Retention

  • One-off audit: the OAuth refresh token is deleted as soon as your report is generated. Report data and the PDF are deleted after 30 days.
  • Weekly watch: the token is kept, encrypted, while the subscription is active and deleted within 24 hours of cancellation.
  • You can revoke access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Processors

Stripe (payments), a transactional email provider (delivery of reports), a cloud host (processing and storage) and, for search-term classification, an AI model provider under terms that forbid training on your data. All process data on our instructions only.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion by emailing support@deadspend.app. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to object and to complain to your data protection authority.
